PACE’s structural team designed a 110-foot-long steel girder and precast concrete bridge spanning Clear Creek near Estacada, OR. The goal of this grant-funded project was to improve the fish habitat in this reach of the creek. The new bridge was designed for HL-93 loading and used repurposed steel girders from an I-84 bridge replacement project. Following completion of the bridge, the creek bottom was restored to its natural conditions.
