The US 12 Corridor Enhancement Project from the Nine Mile Hill interchange to Frenchtown is a comprehensive project aimed at optimizing efficiency and safety. PACE crafted creative solutions for three grade-separated bridges along the corridor to effectively eliminate traffic conflicts and ensure secure access for local farmers, school buses, and emergency responders.

These bridges span over 140 feet each and feature precast, prestressed concrete girders supported by foundation spread footings atop 20-foot-high Mechanically Stabilized Earth (MSE) walls. Additionally, two bridges, strategically placed along the mainline alignment of US 12, accommodate one-way traffic and seamlessly cross Lower Dry Creek. Notably, our design prioritizes an obstruction-free clear zone, mirroring the safety standards set by the initial interchange bridges.
