PACE provided civil engineering design for the SpringHaven development, a 76 single-family lot subdivision in Everett, WA. The site included several large wetlands and Penny Creek. The project redeveloped 12.12 acres with 1.29 acres of undevelopable land within the wetlands and buffers used for detention storage. Design included bio-filtration water quality treatment prior to discharge into wetlands. The wetlands were restored and/or reconstructed to provide adequate detention while also properly hydrating wetland. Stormwater released out of the wetland is performed by using a partially pervious berm of structural material and compost amended soil.
