During an annual inspection of the district’s 30-inch sewer trunk line located along Miller Creek, two locations were discovered where the stream channel had down-cut, severely exposing the pipe and two manholes. PACE developed a plan to stabilize 500 feet of stream channel through a combination of stream boulders, large woody debris, and streambed gravel. The structures were strategically placed to create pools for the fish habitat.
