PACE provided civil engineering design, land surveying, and construction inspection for 4,400 LF of water main improvements along Macadam Road South, including ductile iron pipe installation, fire hydrants, service connections, system appurtenances, and roadway restoration. Our services included topographic surveying, basemap production, engineering, and development of plan and profile drawings for new water mains, curbs, gutters, and sidewalks, specifications and bid documents, as well as public outreach before construction.

During the project, the City of Tukwila received grant funding to extend sidewalks under the Safe Routes to Schools program, which required piping the roadside ditch and redirecting the runoff. Our team engineered regrading portions of the roadway to optimize drainage and incorporated added drainage elements, road reconstruction, street parking, and wetland buffer mitigation to support the new sidewalk construction.
