PACE provided the civil design for new boat launch ramps, boarding docks, transient floating docks, gangways, and parking areas for this 5.4-acre waterfront park. Design included new rest rooms, a picnic pavilion, boaters’ wash-down stations, a nautical-themed playground, and trails with a pedestrian bridge. Design involved restoring a 10,000 SF wetland; a new log boom; a 400-foot bioretention swale; and storm, sanitary, and water system facilities. Close coordination with eight regulatory agencies was required to facilitate and permit the project.
