Chelan County retained PACE for engineering design services on the Stemilt Creek Bridge and Channel Restoration. Severe erosion around the abutments jeopardized the bridge’s stability. PACE performed hydrologic and hydraulic analyses, providing reports that supported permitting and construction of scour mitigation and bank stabilization. The design package included scour analysis, countermeasure design, engineered stream bed material, channel design, landscape restoration, Joint Aquatic Resource Permit Application (JARPA) support, and bid-ready plans and specifications.
