This project tackles localized flooding along South 131st Place while enhancing water quality and restoring fish passage in Southgate Creek. Part A of the project involves a fully permitted, bid-ready design for a fish-passable culvert to resolve existing flooding. Part B assesses the Southgate Creek basin to identify projects that reduce flooding, stabilize sediment transport, and improve fish habitat and water quality. PACE’s services include site assessments, topographic mapping, alternatives analysis, design plans, cost estimates, hydraulic modeling, permitting, stakeholder coordination, easement acquisition, and basin planning.
