Madrona Creek is at two road crossings and redirected to the city’s storm drainage system. This grant-funded, award-winning project created a freshwater estuary for the salmonid habitat. PACE developed plans to restore the ravine and daylight 1,270 feet of the creek. Services included design of in-stream habitat structures, riparian corridor revegetation, pedestrian bridges, and interpretive areas, and analysis and design to replace a culvert under 38th Avenue South.
