PACE is assisting the City of Tukwila with retrofitting its sanitary sewer Lift Station No. 5. The existing lift station is a wet/dry well station reaching the end of its useful life. Because the existing station does not have sufficient space to allow for electrical upgrades to meet current regulatory requirements, the City wants to abandon the existing dry well and construct an above-ground electrical shelter with new electrical controls, construct a new meter vault, install new submersible pumps, rehabilitate the existing wet well, and install miscellaneous site improvements. PACE leads the multi-disciplinary design team and provides surveying and engineering design for the new pump, wet well, and site improvements.
