PACE provided comprehensive civil and structural engineering solutions to replace two picnic shelters at Happy Valley Park. Our services included permitting, land surveying, bid document preparation, and construction management.

Our approach focused on efficiency and cost-effectiveness, so we demolished the existing shelters and installed new ones within the same footprint. The newly constructed shelters span 900 SF and include robust features such as concrete footings and slabs, structural tube steel columns, glulam beams, 2×12 wood roof joists, and a standing seam metal roof. These elements were meticulously chosen to ensure durability and longevity, contributing to the enjoyment and safety of park visitors for years to come.
