PACE conducted a GIS Needs Assessment for the Cascade Water Alliance (Cascade) in 2017. The goal was to assist Cascade in developing a comprehensive GIS program that optimizes collection, distribution, and maintenance of geospatial information related to Cascade’s assets. PACE’s scope included developing a survey questionnaire, conducting an onsite interview with Cascade staff and consultants, and producing a report summarizing Cascade’s needs and detailing short – and long – term program recommendations. Our focus was to identify system modification that increase access to the existing GIS, streamline daily office and field workflow, and support Cascades mission through community engagement and outreach.
