This multi-phase development will result in a 179-unit independent living, assisted living, and memory care facility, parking, and access road on a currently undeveloped 17-acre parcel in Snohomish County. The project includes widening an existing major arterial road and rerouting a fish-bearing stream.
PACE assisted with obtaining the required permits from Snohomish County, the City of Bothell, the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife, and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Regulatory Branch and coordinated with the Tribes. PACE’s environmental and landscape design team developed a proposed mitigation plan to create and enhance wetlands and reroute and enhance the fish-bearing stream away from the heavily traveled roadway to improve fish habitat and water quality.
