Municipal

PACE provides comprehensive civil engineering services for all types of municipal projects, including water and sewer utilities, stormwater management, watershed planning, roadway and sidewalk design, parks and trails, public works facilities, stream restoration, environmental restoration, and parking lots/structures. Our municipal engineers also serve as Engineers of Record for special purpose districts or designated City Engineers for local municipalities, and assist municipal clients on an on-call basis. Services include capital improvement project design and construction specifications; as-builts for both new construction and facility improvements; coordinating with state and federal agencies; facility planning; developing funding strategies and cost estimates; preparing grant applications and securing project funding; providing plan review; and many supporting engineering and ongoing related tasks that are needed by a municipal agency.

Land Development

With experience executing civil engineering solutions for everything from industrial and commercial office parks and residential developments to local public parks and trails, PACE’s engineering team assists clients in realizing the visions, needs, and goals of their projects.

PACE’s civil engineers specialize in providing effective designs for projects involving all aspects of land development. We offer a variety of project capabilities including property master planning, permitting, feasibility studies, erosion and sediment control, grading, drainage, water, sewer, and road improvements. In addition, PACE’s LEED®-accredited and low impact development (LID)-certified staff provide innovative, sustainable design techniques and incorporate best management practices in our designs, whenever possible. Our experienced engineers utilize new land development technologies and are up to date with local agency regulations to ensure that our clients’ projects are soundly based and completed in an efficient and cost-effective manner.

Structural

PACE’s structural team provides structural evaluation, design, and construction phase services to private and public-sector clients. We ensure that structures do not deflect, rotate, vibrate excessively, or collapse, and that they remain stable and secure throughout their use. We have two goals: one is to design a structure so that it can fulfill a specific purpose while remaining safe, economic, and functioning throughout its intended lifetime, and the second is valuing our clients’ schedules and budgets by open and honest communication and internal practices that simplify the process.
