PACE provided design for the construction of a Washington State Department of Ecology grant-funded stormwater decant facility to receive, process, and dispose of excavated materials and vactor truck waste generated by the city of Kirkland’s maintenance activities. The project converted their two-bay structure to a covered four-bay structure with a steel frame roof and walls. The project also included two oil/water separators conveying decant to the city sewer, two flow meter manholes, and two StormFilter® cartridge catch basins to control stormwater runoff on and around decant operations.
