The city extended water service for almost four miles on Dutch Canyon Road, a winding, narrow country road. Careful attention was required during design to accommodate traffic and access concerns. The project consisted of a new pump station, 2,500 LF of 12-inch pipe, and 14,000 LF of 8-inch pipe with connections, services, and appurtenances to city standards. The project also had multiple culvert crossings and a wooden bridge crossing, which complicated the design.
