This 9-acre urban park project enhanced a heavily used area to serve as a regional stormwater facility for a 109-acre basin and to relieve flooding and improve water quality in Ronald Bog. PACE evaluated LID options based on flooding and water quality goals, LID design criteria, cost, and assessment of existing conditions. The recommended stormwater options included vegetated biofiltration channels for conveyance and treatment, rain gardens, and a constructed stormwater wetland with detention storage.
