Ravenna Creek Stream Daylighting, Gaynor Inc.

PACE was part of a multi-disciplinary team that provided public process, design, engineering, survey, environmental studies, permitting, coordination with the various permitting agencies and park users. The project consisted of restoration of approximately 600 feet of stream that is currently piped under the Ravenna Park ball fields. During the design process five public workshops were held to solicit public opinion and develop a consensus on the preferred solution. The final design included a diverse stream channel with numerous stream habitat structures, restoration of wetlands, naturalized contours, native vegetation, improved pedestrian access including bridges and overlooks, and art all while maintaining use of the adjacent baseball field.
